32C "Heat"??? I've become a wuss!

Love 'em...

Today I tasted the first batch of Sula wines thats come here to Canada. They are the perfect wines to go with Indian food. I am not a big fan of white wines, but the Chenin tasted so good with chicken curry, I might just get hooked on it. The red wines were great too. All the 3 wines that I tasted (the Chenin, the Shiraz and the Zinfandel) were great, a very pleasant surprise considering Indians are not really wine drinkers. But hey, everyone knows how awesome the Nasik grapes are. A bit on the expensive side right now (quite a bit expensive for a guy living on a student's salary), I really hope their prices come down soon.

500 weeks...

A straight run that long is humongous for a movie...but DDLJ did it...its easily gonna go past the 10-year mark.

They won, they won, they won....

Uchenna and Joyce won the amazing race...coming back from the brink. Awesome folks, completely deserving...the most deserving among all the teams. I had lost all hope after that stupid flat tire towards the end of the Jamaica leg and the resulting last place in that leg which left them with no money. But they made it. One "equaliser" (the closed gate) in Puerto Rico and a very lucky break at the airport and they did it. I was on the edge at the end thanks to Uchenna and Joyce not wanting to go to the final line until they had paid the cab driver...just shows how nice they are...had Rob and Amber been in their place, I'm sure they would have run in without paying. They're both awesome, but Uchenna is the kind of person you don't expect to see anywhere these days. Hardly was there a moment when he lost his composure. When Joyce broke down at the airport after a round of futile begging, Uchenna kept his calm and made sure Joyce got her spirits up again. He made sure they kept going...he found hope where none would have existed for an ordinary man. He is a gem of a person and Joyce is a very very lucky lady, and at the same time completely deserving of him...they are an awesome team and an awesome couple. Unlike other teams which had their moments of meanness (some had tons of them), Uchenna and Joyce played the game straight and remained nice. And thats why they deserved it the most.

Have never been involved with a reality show to this extent. But I'm sure glad of the way it turned out.
