I don't get it

How does one explain the need for an English remake of a Hindi movie which was "inspired" by an English movie?

Similarly, how does one explain the need for a remake of a movie that has no plot and no entertainment potential with an actor who really doesn't have any talent or screen presence?

Finally, how does one explain the need to cast the same inept actor as the protagonist in the remake of one of Bollywood's landmark movies?

I really don't get RGV these days.

The much awaited...

Google finally launches a direct attack on Office. Combine Google's strong anti-MS posturing, Eric Schmidt's background with Sun and the itch Sun has had to get back somewhere near the big league and this was very much expected, in spite of the soft truce that Sun and MS have had for a little while.

Google is riding on a lot of love from its users and the media and quite a bit of cash through its stock and it won't be taking on just MS. Probable targets in the future are eBay and Paypal, Amazon and telecom and cable companies. If everything goes right, Google could gradually end up becoming the most powerful services company ever. And with the huge amount of control it will have over the flow of all kinds of information, it should end up becoming the most powerful company ever, something far bigger than MS ever was.
